Why go anywhere else? We had brisket (waaaay better than Chuck Wagon even), and pulled pork and two of the meatiest rib bones ever. The sauce is spicy but not hot. Very nice! And the service is super attentive too. Yum.
I'm from the real deal country where my grandparents Planted gardens yearly so I know how good soul food is supposed to taste. This place is by far the best I've had in Huntsville. Who ever is in the kitchen understands the assignment. I will be going back
Had a pork sandwich combo at their mobile BBQ unit that they set up at the old Madison Square mall on University for lunch (next to Holiday Inn), and my wife had a brisket sandwich. We both agree that these were the *BEST* BBQ sandwiches we've had in many years. We plan on going to their restaurant on Pulaski Pike with friends very soon. Reminds me of the BBQ style at old Thomas Pit BBQ that was out in Madison.
I ordered bbq to-go for a baby shower and couldn't have been happier with the food and service. They worked with me on quantity of food and pickup time. Additionally, it was the best barbecue I've had in the city. 10/10 would recommend.
The brisket was on point meaning very good.The ribs where good also just a little tough.As far as sides the baked beans were sweet but good, collard greens were good(could be bias because I love greens) lol, the slaw was a sweet vinegar slaw what you would find at midst barbq spots but good.The Mac and cheese was old school like grandma's. Always a pleasure to stop in for lunch!
This establishment catered our Basketball Banquet. We had great communication and they offered wonderful suggestions to serve a crowd. The price was very reasonable for each plate and food was tasty. They delivered our food to the event in a timely manner and made sure we had all the essentials for the meal. They were both kind and delightful to work with for our event. Rib sandwich, baked beans & potato salad were excellent. Just consider that the only bbq sauce provided is a small cup of red vinegar which I used to pour over the ribs. I then added some Sweet Baby Ray's bbq sauce that I had at home. If you don't like vinegar and/or are a fan of more traditional bbq sauce keep this in mind before visiting. The staff members were very friendly.
Stopped in for the first time today and man was it good! The ladies were welcoming and friendly and confident in their menu items. As someone in the industry, I often say that you can't go wrong with Great food and Great service!
